Affiliate Disclosure

Tinker Signal is free to read. To pay for it, some links on this site may be affiliate links. This page explains what that means and how we keep it honest.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link to a store that lets the store know you came from Tinker Signal. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a small commission. You never pay more because you used our link.

How you’ll know

  • Every affiliate link on Tinker Signal, including in our price tracker, is clearly labeled as an affiliate link right where it appears.
  • Links without that label are ordinary links, and we earn nothing from them.
  • Sponsored content is always labeled as sponsored at the top of the page.

What it doesn’t change

  • Affiliate programs never decide what we cover, how we describe a product, or which products appear in our guides.
  • Prices in our price tracker and guides come straight from each brand’s official store, whether or not we have an affiliate link for it.
  • Brands can’t pay to change or remove anything we publish.

Our relationships with brands

3DPrinterMike, who runs Tinker Signal, has worked with many 3D printing companies through his YouTube channel. It’s safest to assume we have a past or current relationship with any brand we write about. When a specific article involves a sponsorship or a product provided by a brand, we say so in that article.
